Survival Gear Headed to Haiti
I’m hoping to put this stack of survival gear into service by getting it on a plane to Haiti. An inventory of about 75 preparedness kits remain from my former product company Applied Vitals. Several Charleston area outfits are actively coordinating shipments to Haiti. I unfortunately missed a recent FedEx delivery that left this past week.
These survival kits—self-contained units with water, food, blanket, light and first aid—are clearly useful for Haiti earthquake victims as well as for support crews. Each unit is designed to contain enough food and water for a 72 hour period, while the other hard goods would clearly last longer.
Does anyone have recommendations or requests for placing these emergency survival units with a particular mission, non-profit or organization?

Shoot me an email – what is in the pack, size of box, weight of box, cost of box, etc.
