Applied Vitals

I just returned from an overnight kayaking trip here in Charleston.  The crew at Coastal Expeditions‘ Folly Creek location set me up with a rental and some great advice for my solo adventure.  I paddled north to Morris Island and spent the night at the northern tip if Folly Island.

One of the highlights of the trip was launching about an hour and half before day break this morning.  Paddling under the stars with heat lightning firing off on the horizon and the sound of surf breaking along the barrier islands was magical and rejuvenating.
